~ Although i never met James in person, i "met" on Facebook when it first began. I soon learned he was a person of quality, so smart, so funny... patriotic, just a really nice guy.

Just heard the news today of Jim's passing, cant believe it. Jim was my co-worker many years ago at the VA in Washington DC, he was such a happy person, always laughing. My condolences to the family. RIP Jim.

James was a truly amazing human being. He was my Facebook friend, and although we never met in person, he was kind to me during a very challenging period in my life last fall. I will honor him by being equally as kind to others. Into the arms of the Angels, dear James!

James was my friend and "brother" on Facebook. He helped me through many difficult times through his gift of laughter. I miss him every day. James was truly a good soul. We shared a love of animals, country, and great comedy. I am thankful Jim was able to meet and enjoy Elayne Boosler; he was so happy in the many pictures shown on Facebook. I'm grateful for his friendship, the countless laughs and dialogue, and my respect for his service to our country. My condolences to his friends and family.
