Joseph Duke Obituary

Joseph Logan Duke Jr went to his heavenly home on 8/7/2013. He was born in Okochobee, FL on 7/16/1930. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn R Duke, his son Joseph Logan Duke III and two daughters and their husbands Darlynn & Danny Vella, Cindy & Buddy Owen, five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was retired from Pan American Airlines and was a member of Taft Street Baptist Church and loved the lord, his family and fishing. Viewing followed by funeral service wil be on Saturday, 8/10/2013 at Taft Street Baptist Church, Pembroke Pines. Entombment will be in South Florida National Cementary.

Carolyn,
I am so sorry to hear about Joe's death. I just learned about it today. My mother thought he was such a wonderful person and Christian. I appreciate all you both did for my mother when she lived in your area. Thank You again and please know you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
