Joseph Barry Garron

Joseph (Joe) Barry Garron, age 84, passed away on July 28, 2018 in Boca Raton, Florida. Joe was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Miami Beach and was a graduate of Miami Beach Senior High School. Joe, a lifelong Florida Gators fan, graduated from the University of Florida in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts in Building Construction. Joe proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Joe was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who took pride in his coaching ability both in sports and in life. His high spirit, generosity and unparalleled ability to care and help those he met ensured that everyone he knew and loved appreciated life to its fullest. Always with a smile on his face and a friendly greeting, Joe touched the lives of so many people in his community and beyond. Joe, son of Hannah and Martin Garron, is survived by his beloved wife Roni Waldman Garron; his sister Harriette Barnes; his three children, Wendi, Martin and Russell Garron and daughter-in-law Kari Ann Garron; two grandchildren, Jacob and Abigail Garron; stepchildren Stacey Lipton, Jodi Berman and Scott Lipton; as well as eight step-grandchildren.
