You have my deepest sympathy. I knew Larry when he was an Intern in Florida. He was a kind and compassionate human being.

Loretta and family. Deepest sympathy from Margaret Z. Jones,M.D. I had the honor and privilege of collaborating with Larry after arrival at MSU in 1970 on the most exciting, creative and effective neurological educational endeavors of my career. I am so thankful for that priceless experience that demonstrated the high level of competency that medical students can achieve with his excellent leadership and gifts for teaching.

Dr. Jacobson was a teacher's teacher. As my first instructor of clinical medicine at MSU-COM in 1971-72, he instilled a sense of confidence and pride in me. He was a great asset to our profession.
May his family be comforted in their sorrow by the fact that he touched and help mold so many physicians.

I clearly remember Dr. Jacobson as a VERY proficient, thoughtful, knowledgeable professor. I was a student of his at MSU/COM matriculating in 1971. I greatly appreciate and respect his teaching abilities to this day.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I didn't know Dr. Jacobson only from hearing Dana and Jay glowingly speak of him and his passions with such love. I wanted to express my sympathy for your great loss. I'll never forget the Schmidt hug I cried it was so sweet.

There are no words that can adequately express our sorrow, Larry was such a wonderful friend, kind, considerate, caring, humorous, so bright. If we could have made Larry and Loretta our blood relatives, we would have. Loretta, Dana, Mark I just wish I could be there for you now as you Lorretta and Larry have always been there for us all these years.
Our to you all Sam and Annette
