Loren Pate Obituary
Loren was born on July 17, 1938 in Goldsboro, NC to Loren Horatio and Martha Taylor Pate. He graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in English. After college he was drafted and spent two years in the Army. Upon his completion of service he had a career in hotel management in New York and Hollywood, Fl where he was a resident for over 50 years. Loren had a real love for his family history and always knew who was who and where they came from in his family lineage. He will be sorely missed.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Lynn Pate. He is survived by his nephew, Charles Lynn Pate Jr. and his niece Melissa Ellen Pate.
Per his request no funeral services will be held.
Loren especially loved his pet companion, Ms. Kitty. In his memory please make donations to your local animal rescue shelter.
