Manuel Raldiris Obituary

Raldiris, Manuel Patrick, Sr., 78, passed away January 1, 2005 in Marietta, GA, from a stroke-related illness. He was born in New York City in 1926 and later moved to Philadelphia, PA, where he married Patricia Hale. He joined the Navy in WWII, earning an American Theater Ribbon, European Theater Ribbon and a Victory Medal. He earned his BS Degree in Accounting from Temple University and his CPA Certifications in both PA and FL. He resided in the Miami/Hollywood/Stuart area from 1962 to 2003. He retired in 1994, and moved to Atlanta to be with his daughter in 2003. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Hale Raldiris; and is survived by his brother, Ralphael Raldiris, daughter, Lynda Wooldridge, son, Manuel Patrick Raldiris, Jr., and his 3 grandchildren, Robert Wooldridge, Jr., Christina Wooldridge, Tarah Raldiris, and 5 nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday at FRED HUNTER'S HOLLYWOOD MEMORIAL GARDENS HOME, 6301 Taft Street, where friends may call Thursday 10:00 AM to service time. Entombment HOLLYWOOD MEMORIAL GARDENS.

I worked with Patrick when he was with Citibank in Dania. I was a lawyer with Holland & Knight. He was not just a client, but also a friend. He was a kind and gentle man, and I will miss him. This message brings my deepest thoughts of sympathy and prayers to the Raldiris family.
