Michael Parker

Parker, Michael, 41, of Oakwood Village in Flanders, NJ, died Saturday, September 11, 2004. He was the husband of Jeannette (Schumaker) Parker of Hollywood, FL and son of Cynthia (White) Parker and the late Clifford Parker. Born in Springfield, MA, Michael grew up in East Longmeadow, lived in Hollywood, FL for 22 years prior to moving to Flanders, NJ in 2002. He was employed by Dietrich Industries as a Machinist Foreman for the past several years. Michael served a term in the U.S. Navy during peacetime. He was an avid motor sport enthusiast, from water to land, boats to motorcycles he loved them as a pastime. Michael died doing the sport he enjoyed most. He is survived by his three daughters, Jenna, Jessica, and Jamie Parker all of Hollywood, FL, a sister, Christine Sgueglia and her husband Tony, and their children, Mia and Jordan, of East Longmeadow, his grandmother, Evelyn Wilder, of Pensacola, FL, and his very close companion, Dawn Guerriero of NJ. Besides his father, Michael is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Gertrude (Aubrey) White. A funeral in celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 17, at 10 am at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers, CT followed by the burial at Somers Center Cemetery. His family will receive relatives and friends from 4-8 pm on Thursday, at the Somers Funeral Home.
