To the Plotkin Family,
I had the pleasure of meeting Michael's wife Karen when she and my daughter Tamara Prendergast worked together. My family and I will keep your family in our prayers. Even though I never met Michael, I felt that I knew him through the stories that my daughter would tell me about the family.

To the Plotkin Family. It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I did not know Michael personally but I do know his lovely wife Karen. Karens grace and warm loving friendship she bestows on all that she knows and her love of family has always been an inspiration to me, as her friend. I believe that she is this person because of the family that Michael and she raised and shared with the rest of us. Her life is a reflection of Michael and I am sure that Michael's life was a reflection of Karen. How amazing and wonderful to be part of such greatness as love, caring and family. I send to each of you all my love. May God Bless all of you and may you find comfort in knowing that you are loved and being prayed for. Let the love of friends and family carry you through this very sad time in your life. My prayer are with you.

To the entire Plotkin Family: I knew Michael, Kenny, Perry and Millie from the late 1950's from a bungalow colony in Monroe, NY...Orchard Lake Lodge. We had great, fun times there. Michael and I were good friends (I secretly had a crush on him), and hung out together. He was a doll. I fondly remember taking a ride in his beloved T-Bird in the early '60s. My sister and I also attended Jamaica H.S. I recently moved to S. Florida, and have been trying to find "old friends", one whom was Michael. My sister and I just mentioned his name this past Friday! I even tried to find Perry, Millie and Kenny, but had no luck. Today, Tuesday, 11/27, I just happened to be looking at the Sun-Sentinel and saw the Obituary. I prayed that it was not the Michael I knew. I immediately called my sister, Janice who also knew Michael. We are both shocked and saddened by your sudden loss and send our deepest sympathy to the family. I wish I had found him sooner.
