Paul Magalian Obituary

Magalian, Paul, 79, of Coral Gables, FL passed away unexpectedly December 22, 2004. Retired Chief of Pharmacy at the Veteran's Administration of Miami. Dean Emeritus of the College of Pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University and a curator of the Health Museum of Nova Southeastern University. He is a 32nd degree mason with the Valley of Miami, Orient of Florida, a member of Lodge No. 260 in Coral Gables and holds a PhD from Oxford University. He proudly served in WW II and the Korean War. He labored for the good of all, his hands were always open and his heart was always full. To those who knew him best - the memory of countless loving deeds is the richest legacy that one can leave. He is survived by a loving wife of 56 years, Ellen, 3 children, Paul, Charles and Cynthia, their spouses Lisa, Cate and Glen, and 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Natalie and Laken. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a donation to the Paul and Ellen Magalian Scholarship Fund, c/o the College of Pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University, Payable to NSU, 3200 S. University Dr, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33328. Visitation will be held from 6:30 - 9 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Funeral Home, 305-445-9508. A Graveside Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, December 24, 2004 at Miami Memorial Park.
