Paul Manno Obituary

Beloved North Beach resident dies at 71, Paul Manno was a recognizable face on the sands behind his beachside home.

A Miami small-businessman for 42 years, Paul Manno retired to North Beach in 2010 with his wife Irene. He spent most sunrises and sunsets fishing the small strip of unspoiled beach nestled between the Hollywood Broadwalk and Dania Beach Pier.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His home became a gathering place for neighbors, friends, and family. And the memories his generosity and warm hospitality created are everlasting.

What mattered to Paul most was his family. Most especially his 6 siblings; Mary, Carol, Doreen, Michael, Joseph, and Valerie. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Irene, daughters Laura and Marilyn, their partners John and Alex and his grandson John Burton. He was the beloved patriarch of the Manno family which boasts 40+ members living in Florida. And was the eldest son of Joseph and Mary Manno of the Bronx, New York; Palermo, Sicily; and Calabria, Italy.

His sage advice, kind heart, generous soul, and warm hugs are irreplaceable and something we all will have to learn to live without. His memory will always be a blessing to us.
