Philip Ames Obituary

Ames, Philip F., 56, of Cooper City, FL, passed away December 28, 2005, following a long illness. He was born in Miami and graduated from Miami Springs High School. Philip served with the Hialeah Fire and Rescue Dept. in the 1970's, after which in the fire sprinkler business. He was preceded in death last year by a son, Austin. Survivors include his loving wife, Dottie; 2 daughters, Ashley and Amanda; infant grandson, Aden; his mother, Ann Rhoda (Cole) Ames and a half-brother, William Ames, both of Old Town, FL; also an uncle, Russell Cole of Tallahassee. FL; along with several cousins. Philip was a loving husband, father, son and friend who will be sorely missed and forever in our heads and minds. Visitation is 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2005, at the funeral home.
