Salvatore Carastro Obituary

Carastro, Salvatore, 92, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Born in Sicily, he was a long time resident of Davie, FL, recently moving to Mars Hill. Preceded in death (1996) by his wife, Mary of 58 years; he is survived by daughter, Catherine (Anthony) Galletta; son, Rudy (Bernice) Carastro; and four grandchildren, Deb Birkbeck, Greg Carastro, Anthony and Christina Galletta. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 1 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Because of the storm, please call the funeral home to verify times. Entombment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South. Online condolences may be sent to www.fredhunters.com.
