Hello Uncle Spence,

I miss you. It has been a year now since you've been gone. That is hard to believe. It seems like just yesterday you were here at Mom and Ed's Party. Hope to see you again someday, but not too soon. Ilove you.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's letters to you this past year, so I've decided to keep your Guest Book online another year. It makes me feel connected somehow.

Hey Spence,

It has been almost a year, and at times I still find it hard to believe that you are not here with my mom. I miss seeing you when I come down to visit you and her.I also want to say I that it takes a big man to be a step father, and I always appreciated that. One day we will see each other again in eternal life.

Love always,

Poppy Spence - We sure have missed you these past months. You were loved by everybody, kind hearted and always went out of your way to help other people. The kids enjoyed the time they spent with you playing dominos and cards. Especially Brian! Keep your eye on us - watch over us and we'll see you on the other side.

Love, Keith, Donnita, Shaun & Brian

Uncle Spence:

Something or someone everyday reminds me of you. I have so many wonderful memories of our time together, not just recently but also when I was young. You were always one of my favorites, probably because we spent more time together and that you reminded me of my dad. I really enjoyed our trips together, dinner at Catfish Deweys, cards at Aunt Carols house and your phone calls, you were always wondering what I was doing and wanted an update on my Real Estate sales. You really cared and that meant alot. It made Paul and I happy to know that you and Aunt Peggy liked staying at our condo., even though you didn't like the cats. I love you so much...I could write a book. I wish I could bring you back to us. Just know that I am glad for all the time we had to spend together. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you have joined the rest of our family in heaven and that all of you are watching over the rest of us. I particularly don't have very good luck-remember? Maybe now my luck will change. God Bless...I'll love you FOREVER!!! xoxo

We will miss you Spence and all the weekend fun times we had together at the 'card table' and all the 'restaurants' we ate at. It will not be the same , but we will not stop having the fun and playing cards and laughing as you would not want that ,I know. You gave us many times to laugh and wait and it was all fun. Thank you for being in our lives as long as you were , I will miss rubbing that belly of yours for good luck!! Will never forget the sound of your laugh. Peggy will be fine so not to worry. She is strong and she has all her friends and families around her. Your sons and families and other relatives will be fine as you have put many memories in all of the lives you touched. Thank God for putting the memory piece in all of us when he made us . It is a wonderful and sustaining part of our lives when we need it.

Bye for now Spence , you are loved and missed.

Uncle Spence,

You'll forever be in our heart's. We'll remember your smile, your voice and your laugh that brought a smile to our face as well. They say one feel's their best before they pass into heaven, and to hear it said you were on top of the world.
