Steven was my brother in law for 46 years but my friend for 59. He was the closest thing I ever had to a brother. I miss you already Steven but I'll see you later. Save me a seat.

My dear friend Meta... I´ve always loved you and Steven like my own family. I can´t believe he´s gone. I have so many wonderful memories of spending time with both of you when you lived in Brick. You were both so fun-loving, and generous to a fault! Opening your home to all of your friends, taking us out on the boat, and those amazing meals you would cook for us! I wish I could have seen him one more time, given him one more hug. He also treated me with kindness and respect, like a big brother. I´m sure he´s looking down on us right now with that handsome face and big grin. I know you were the love of his life Meta, and the best wife a man could ever hope for. There´s no comfort I can offer for a loss like this, and I wouldn´t even try- except to hope that you share my belief that someday we will all take a boat ride together in paradise! Until then, know that I love you like a sister and I always will.
