Todd Roshitsh Obituary

Roshitsh Todd William 39, of Coral Springs passed away on Friday, December 24, 2004. Todd was born May 4, 1965 in Youngstown, OH. He earned a Master of Engineering degree from Florida Atlantic University after graduating with honors from the mechanical engineering program at the University of Florida. Todd was a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida, and a member and past vice chairman of the Broward County section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr. Roshitsh had a distinguished career spanning 16 years designing and packaging microelectronics for communications products produced by various divisions with Motorola, Inc. His work led to the awarding of three U.S. patents for developments in radio frequency switch assemblies and shielding for low-profile electronic circuitry. He was recognized within Motorola with the "Distinguished Innovation Award" in 1992 and as a "Distinguished Performer" in 1991, among other awards. Todd was preceded in death by his father, William L. Roshitsh, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Joan Roshitsh of Fincastle, VA; sister, Traci Roshitsh of Hollywood, FL; brother, Jeff and sister-in-law, Bobbi Roshitsh; nephew, Kyle; niece, Kaley all of Blue Ridge, VA; aunt and uncle, Chuck and Betty Luca of West Palm Beach; cousins, Shawn Luca and Wendy and her husband Eric McDermott, Ed Roshitsh, Brian Roshitsh and Dana and her husband Kevin Campbell. A memorial service will be held 4:00PM, Thursday, December 30, 2004 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 7875 W. McNab Rd., Tamarac. Memorial donations may be made to the church in memory of Todd. I am going to miss my friend Todd. I knew him from when he first started at Motorola. He was always polite, soft-spoken, and ethical, responsible, patient, and very professional.
