Penni I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He and your mom were always so nice when they came by the school. He was quite funny at times. Give your mom a hug from me. May God's love surround your family now and forever.

Mrs. Newton, Penny and Hunter, please accept my sincere condolences. I have fond memories of living next door to the Newton Family. Penny and Hunter probably don't remember but I used to babysit them. May Mr. Newton rest in peace and May God wrap his arms around all of you in the sad time.

I was deeply saddened by the news from a cousin in Ft Smith of Albert's passing. There is not a time when I am in Ark that I pass Kelly Highway on way to this cousin's house that I don not think of Albert, Gary and the time spent with the Newton family in 1966/67 when Albert, Gary and I were freshmen at Ark Tech. There were the trips to the bluffs above Dardanelle Dam, running around Russellville. But the best memory has to be when Albert, Gary, Ralph (Scantlin) and I sank Ralpk's boat in the "Mud Hole" in Little Rock. Albert and Gary were staying at my house from Tech that weekend. It was all Albert's fault;Lol!
That was a long time ago but rest assured that Albert holds a special place in my heart.
While we went our separate ways after that year I have never forgotten Albert's and Gary's friendship. I keep mentioning them both because if I remember correctly they were twins. I didn't believe it at first. So Newton family please accept my condolences and know my thoughts are with you at this time. Sorry about being so long winded.
Gary, I would love to hear from you.

I remember Albert as being a very kind and gentle man. And I remember that red hair. My heart goes out to his family at this time.
