David Roam Obituary

David Roam
David Lee Roam, Jr., a Southside Rebel from the class of '83, loved his family and friends, hunting, riding his bike and being in the great outdoors. He was a Black Belt in Taekwondo. He loved visiting Silver Dollar City in Branson and may hold the Guinness Book of Records for riding the "Fire in the Hole" Rollercoaster! David's family owned the famed Grand Bakery back in the 70s and 80s. David continued working as a baker and was employed by CVS Bakery and Deli whom he considered part of his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Patsy Roam and his sister Janie Winters. He is survived by his father Tokey Roam and wife Gail, Jerry McClain, Barbie Rebsamen and Bill and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews. David enjoyed spending every weekend with cousin Scott Roam and family. He looked forward to each hunting season he spent with all of his longtime fellow Deer Camp hunters. David's Deer Camp and favorite hunting spot will be named as a special place in his memory. He loved family friends Dustin and Jennifer Hart and their daughters Emma and Cora who referred to him as Uncle David.
