As a student/athlete @ westark i was in the old fieldhouse daily and without fail Co Wyatt would always say hi and or acknowledge me - if he was on the far side(reserve sec)where i was going he would even ask how my mother was doing = a class act and an awesome gentleman. He & Co Whorton got me started into announcing basketball - I loved how he would bring me a list of Div 1 coaches in attendance to announce with really neat hand writing. Thank You janie , darren , doug & missy for allowing us to walk with this honest & loyal man.

I always appreciated his wisdom, integrity and work ethic. Jim Wyatt is one of the finest men I've ever known. His legacy as a coach and athletic director will live on for many years to come. I will miss his great stories and conversations about athletes, coaches, teams and memorable games. He was a devoted family man who was as solid to the core. Prayers of comfort and peace for Janie, Darren, Missy, Doug and the entire family.

Wyatt Family,
So sorry to hear about Jim! He meant so much to many of us that believed he was our best friend! He served all of us with the love and grace of a big brother! Attending games at local basketball gyms will not be the same without seeing that Zorro Hat heading in to the bleachers!
