Tyrone Beaver Obituary
Tyrone "Troy" Beaver, 40, of Arkoma, Oklahoma passed away on July 30, 2021. He was born December 4, 1980 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Russell Beaver and Tammy Batt. Troy was employed in the Oil and Gas Industry for many years. Troy was the biggest jokester and you could guarantee at the end of a visit with him you would have a sore belly from laughing. He enjoyed doing crafts with his daughter. He loved fishing, hunting, working on cars and trucks, playing all sports with his nephews and volunteering as a coach. All the kids in Arkoma referred to his as Uncle Troy. He was very proud of his Cherokee heritage and had the tattoos to prove it.
Troy is survived by his daughter, Tyra Beaver (Jay Tate) of Arkoma; girlfriend, Sabrina Hoskins of Arkoma; parents, Tammy and Wayne McGuire of Arkoma, Russell and Regina Beaver of Tahlequah; two sisters, Vanessa Atkinson (Eric) of Arkoma, Jessica Beaver of Tahlequah; three brothers, Jason Beaver of Arkoma, Cody McGuire of Arkoma, Mohawk Beaver of Tahlequah; one step daughter, Hailee Dunn of Roland; one step sister, April (Ole) Kantaphone of Farmington, AR.; two step brothers, Wayne (April) McGuire of Arkoma, Eric McGuire of Arkoma; five nephews, Jadyn Riggs, Jandyn Beaver, Kyran Atkinson, Jaxtyn Beaver and Kyson Atkinson; along with a host of extended family and many friends; his four legged best friend Deuce.
Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Arkoma Gymnasium. Visitation will be 5 PM till 7 PM, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home. To place online condolences, visit www.edwardsfuneralhome.com.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Beaver, Noonie Batt, Josh Rogers, Cody Christian, Bryan Howington, Jesse Little, Casey Haley and Jason Hoskins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Johnson, Jimmy Brewer, Jose Tarin, Jamie Cox, Christopher Sivige and Arkoma Mustangs 2000 Basketball Team.
