Ruby Louise Snow Reed age 92, of Max Meadows, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2024. She was born in Speedwell on November 11, 1931 to the late Andy and Maude Snow. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Sayers. She was a retiree of EIS Brakes in Rural Retreat.
Survivors include her husband, John Reed of Max Meadows; niece, Patsy Sayers of Speedwell; two great nephews, Rusty and Rocky Sayers of Speedwell; two grandchildren, A.J. Jordon and Beth Rabee.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Freedom Ministries Church 760 E. Main Street – Wytheville, VA 24382 with the Reverend Ronnie Sawyers officiating. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Speedwell Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Freedom Ministries Church.
