Perry was my stepfather during some important years of my childhood in Central New York. I spent many days going to work with him and learning from him as he worked as a pipefitter, and I remember proudly wearing the union hats and shirts he brought home. We even replumbed our old house together when I was young. I wanted to share my appreciation for the time he spent with me as a boy. My condolences to his family and all who knew him.
