Allen Graham Obituary
Allen Gerald Graham, 68, of Gainesville, FL, formerly of Quincy, FL passed in Tampa on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. James AME Church, Quincy, FL, with burial at 12 noon Monday in Tallahassee National Cemetery. A 1966 graduate of Carter-Parramore High, he attended Stillman College, FAMU and Bethune-Cookman College before joining the U.S. Army. A retired truck driver for Sysco Foods, he had lived in Gainesville for over 40 years. Survivors include his daughters, Keena Graham and Natasha (Ed) O'Donnell; brothers, Michael (Blondell) Graham; sisters, Beverly Miller, Barbara (Johnny) Hinson, Sandra and Kimberly Graham; five grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

In remembrance of my "Uncle Jerry" Gerald Allen Graham. I remember ever so vividly all of the vacations and weekends spent down Gainesville with my Uncle. He would always take us to the park to play sports whether it be basketball, baseball, or softball. I always wanted to have big Muscles like my Uncle, and always looked up him for his muscular physique. I Definitely admired him for that and always wanted to aspire to be like that. He was a very tough guy, didn't take no mess, and would tell you exactly what's on his mind no filter, but he was also very kind and had nothing but love for his family. I only wish that we would've spend more time and talked more as I got older. But I will forever cherish those memories that stuck out to me the most. I Love you, Uncle Jerry! Rest In Heavenly Peace.

Once again, the Class of 1966 Carter-Parramore High School is deeply sadden because a link in our chain has been broken,nevertheless we will stand strong because of Our love and God's love.
