Tallahassee - Annie Beatrice Houston, 74, transitioned Thurs. Aug. 12 in Tallahassee. Funeral service will be 2pm Sun Aug. 22 at Philadelphia PB Church with burial at Indian Branch Pallbearers Cemetery. Annie will rest in the mortuary from 5-7pm Sat. Aug. 21. Cherishing precious memories, a loving and caring family; children: Elder Gregory Houston (Linda), Pamela Houston, Ivy Houston, and John Houston Jr.; Godchildren: Min. Terence Davis and Lamesha Duhart. (11) grandchildren, (6) great grandchildren; mother-in-law: Alice Houston; siblings: Robert Paul Jr. (Shirley), Hattie Paul, Ruby Paul, Franklin Paul, Sandra Paul, Wennifer Paul (Diann), Eddie Paul Sr.; and a host of other relatives & friends. To my nieces and nephews; Pam, Ivy, Greg and J.J. (John Jr.), and the entire Houston and Paul families, I´m sorry that I can´t be there with you, but my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Extending my heartfelt sympathies to my friend Gregory, the Houston and Paul Family. We all know and understand that we all will make this transition eventually, but this does not prevent our shock and heavy heart when the one you love so dearly, makes that transition. You will never get over the loss of a mother do my prayer is that the almighty carry you and your family through this loss today and for the many days to come. I lost my beloved over (15) years ago, but today it hurts as if it was yesterday. There is no failure in GOD and he will help you through this time. I learned that by repeating "BUT GOD" my sorrow became a little lighter. May this strengthen you and your family to carry this load. Prayer´s for you all will never cease.
