Bobby Connell Obituary
Tallahassee - Bobby Gene Connell, 82, of Tallahassee, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. He now joins in Heaven his parents, James Thaddeous Connell and Bessie Lester Pace Connell; loving wife of 40 years, Patsy Ruth Stafford Connell; and siblings, James T. Connell, Jr., Lester M. Connell, Kenneth E. Connell, Betty Ruth Martin and Annie Lou White.
He was born in Madison, Florida on June 19, 1939 and retired after 40 years from McGowan/Ace Electric Sales as an electrical supply salesman. A talented guitarist, he played for 20 years at the Monticello Jamboree and enjoyed fishing, country music and he deeply loved his family.
Cherishing his memories are his daughter, Dawn Adkins (husband, Ron); grandchildren, Krystel Beall (husband, Matt), Bobby Cox, Jr. and Mindy Colman; great-grandchildren, Tatum, Drew, Robbie, Braxton, Tyler and Brody; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Abbey Funeral Home, with the funeral beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Radical Restoration Ministries, Post Office Box 2201, Georgetown, Texas, 78627. The online guestbook and live stream service can be found at www.abbeyfh.com.

Dawn, my sincere condolences to you and your family. Me and my sisters knew him as "Uncle Bobby" as he first married our late mother's sister, (Aunt) Geneva Radney, who died in a tragic car accident on Capital Circle around 1973? I know my mother's parents (the late Bill & Ruby Radney) who owned Orange Avenue Service Station loved him dearly, as we did. I echo what my oldest sister Rose said, Uncle Bobby was a kind and funny man. I hope this story touches your heart to know that he meant so much to other people whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace with the Lord.
