brittany, you were always there to laugh with me on the bus in the afternoon when we would sit together and i enjoyed laughing and talking with you even though some rude boys would crack a joke or two but that would just be ignored. that is what i liked about you, no matter how many people would let you down, you just ignored it like nothing and kept laughing. to just think about your smile brightens up my day. you will be missed. please remember we are still friends even though you are not here in flesh, i know that you are here in spirit. your buddy, DESIREE

To the family i know it's hard to lose a daughter or even a sister but you have to move on. Brittany was my best friend and i took her death real hard. She was in all my classes she even set by me in all my classes. Coming back to school on the first day and i know she was not coming back made me cry even worse. But to the family and even to the friends you have to stay strong and even stay together you can't give up now. When god take some one he don't make a mistake about it so all i can say is stay strong for brittany because she would have wanted you to.

To My Family,

When we recieve the call that Brittany had past, my heart skipped a beat. I began to question the Lord "why". When I went to visit my extended family on Sunday, my heart was greiving. I could not understand why her life was taken at such an early age. But last night while I laid in my bed, God began to speak to me in the mist of my moaning. I would like my family to pay close attent to this. The first thing that God said was that I know its hard to accept the fact that little Brittany's life was taken But rejoice because no one knows truly how long she was suffering and how many nights she laid awake ctying because the pains seemed unbearable. God say that he saw his little child suffering and he invited her home to a place of enternal rest. He said he show her that there was nothing to be afraid of to and that all she had to do was take his hand. I believe in my heart that Brittany look at her present state. Then looked up to God and she saw Uncle Coot, Aunt Mary, Aunt Minnie, grandma, and other relatives saying just how wonderful it is in this land of rest where there is no more pain, no lupus, all sickness is gone. Brittany gradly accept the Lords invition to the place of rest.

Now I know there is someone in the family that has said I prayed to God to heal her and he took her life. God directed my to write this to let you all know that your prayers have been answer. It wasnt in the form you was looking for but God did it. He healed Brittany by taking her to the land of rest.

Family be strong Family let us be there for one another let us continuosly pray for Mary, Ken, Roy, and Dale Let us show that love to runs from heart to heart. Let our love be followed by action. Because in times like these families must continue to show love. Lets keep Brittany's memories alive by being true to ourseleves. Family I love you.

Always remember to be abesent from the body is to be present with the Lord

Grieve if you must but continue to live your life for Christ.

Brittany was ready when the Lord called her home. The qeustion stands today, "will you be ready when he comes for you?"

Let's make preparations to meet her and other relatives again.

So I close with this ask God to help us understand the things we can not change.

Brittany you take your rest, little cousin. Love Trice

I'm sorry about what happened to Brittany. I heard about what happened through some friends and It just struk me and shoked me. That let me know that you don't have to be old. You just have to be ready when the LORD calls. I didn't know her that well but i went to Bellevue last year. I give my sympothy to the family and may the Lord bless.

Hello my family, my friends;

It was not the best feeling to learn of Brittany's passing. Although, we say she is in a better place, and much better off than we, but my Lord, she is so young, so gifted, so full of life beyond living.

It was a joy to see she and her Mother walk in for the basketball games. In the midst of all the excitment, we continued to look for them to walk in. It was a desire to hear the echos of each of their voices, sound the alarm of victory across the gym. Brittany's voice was authoritative, confident, powerful, and strong! The Trojan Cheerleaders were there on task, BUT our TRUE, REAL, energized Cheerleaders, were Brittany, and her Mother. What exciting memories too have, to of experienced, and to definitely hold on to.

We pray the comfort and peace of God for ALL but Ken, keep your head up, STAND strong, and be an example for your younger brother. You all be encouraged, and stand together. Be there for one another, and know that Brittany, along with Our Heavenly Father are watching over us. Brittany is SURELY getting her cheers on now! She will be able to cheer Hallelujahs, Hosanna, and Glory to the MOST HIGH KING, right on His right side of HIS throne!!! She has complete VICTORY over all illness, over all troubles. You all MUST look to the hills, from whence cometh your help. ALL your help comes from the Lord!!!

Ken, you take care of Mom and others. God will take care of you and that which concerns you.

We are believing and knowing that this too shall pass. Weeping may endure for a night BUT divine JOY comes in the morning. This not 12:00 am BUT the very moment you receive what God has said and again I say rejoice. He will wipe all of your tears away. Be not dismayed.

MOM, CONTINUE TO CHEER, FOR BRITTANY IS A TROOP A SLAP WINNER!!!

We love you all so!

Ms. Debra,Jhimeika, Jhimeirra, Carlos, Isaiah (Ike), Shakayla, Janiece, Ms. Lenora, and the entire Lincoln High School Basketball Teams and ALL OTHER FANS!!!

I love you Brittany,I have known you all my life. You were a beautiful, intelligent, and humble young lady. I am so thankful to have spent my childhood with you. You're memories will stay with me always! I pray for your family in this huge loss. Brittany was full of pride and had grace which made her such a beautifull girl. You were always full of joy, thankful for all that you had and loved her family like no other. Roy and Ken were always the topic of your conversations. You looked up to both of them. You are missed by all... your friends, family, and teachers. We loved you dearly, but GOd loved you best! THough we grieve over your loss, we know the angels welcomed you with open arms! No words can explain how sweet you were, how you made us all laugh and how much joy you brought in such a short time. Now that you are gone I know you are better and are no longer hurting. I know you are with God, and I can't think of a better guardian to watch over you until we meet again. Save a room next to yours for me in your new mansion in the sky! Baby girl, I love you and miss you and am glad you are no longer in pain. You'll never be forgotten.

Sincerly,

your friend Ashley B.
