Clarence DePuy Obituary

Clarence E. "Bud" DePuy Sr. Clarence E. "Bud" DePuy Sr., 86, died Thursday, December 11, 2008, in Port St. Joe, Fla. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday, December 18, at Beacon Villa, Kaelyn Lane, Beacon Hill, Fla. Bud was born September 3, 1922, in McKeesport, Pa., but he lived most of his life in Florida as a general contractor. He was a veteran of World War II and loved to travel and see the sights of America. Survivors include his children, Peggy Land and Ed DePuy of Tallahassee and Tim DePuy (Crystal) of Port St. Joe, FL; a brother, Meade DePuy (Kathy) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a nephew, Bernie Miller (Halla) of Greensburg, Pa.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, Fla., the Senior Center of Port St. Joe, Fla., or a preferred charity.
