Dear Fletcher family,

We loved David very much and will miss him greatly. So much of the way I view the world was influenced by David and his sweet disposition and peaceful approach to life. I also experienced some of my greatest adventures in his company and I will think of him when I retell those stories to my kids and grandkids. I am thnking of you all and hope you all know that he made a difference in a lot of lives and his spirit will live on in each of us.

Much love always,

Shanna I don't know if you remember me but I had your father as a teacher in middle school and just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers. He was a blessing to have as an educator but more importantly as a person. My deepest sympathies are with you and your family and just know that I have the deepest respect for your father and he will be very missed.

I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO THE ENTIRE FLETCHER FAMILY, FOR THEIR LOSS, ALSO, I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW, I AM HOLDING ALL OF YOU CLOSE TO MY HEART, WITH LOVE, & WISH PEACE TO YOU ALL.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to David’s children, Shanna Fletcher, & Charles Fletcher. To, Charles family, his partner Drina, mother of their 2 sons, Daniel 5 yrs old & Dillon 1 yr old, also to Charles & Shanna's Mother, Millye, Grandmother of Charles & Drina's children.

To all of us here in TALLAHASSEE, who have, by chance, been graced by David's presence,to those who knew David through his gift of teaching, as a student. In addition, to all of his friends, who have been offered inspiration from David, or listening to David, and staying by him, offering courage, through hard times & believing in David. Along with those who sang & danced with him & to all other close family members of David’s children, including their Mother & grandmother to David’s grand children, Millye, furthermore, to other close family's friends of CHARLES & SHANNA'S,together, we all grieve this loss with all of you.

During this time, loss, shock, grieve,& possibly anger, a process, which will guide most of us 1 day @ a time, until, we are ready, in time, to recognize David is still with us, only with a shift in the past relationship. For some of us we will remember David, as we knew him & these memories define a new relationship with David & ourselves, & our own memories. What ever they be, good & happy times, with David, any memories, surfacing for those who LOVE DAVID dearly, & thus we will keep these memories of David Fletcher, close to our heart, with LOVE & one day recognize he's still with us, just in a different way.

Once again, I am extending my LOVE TO DAVID’S TWO CHILDREN, & DRINA, MOTHER OF DAVID’S TWO GRANDCHILDREN & I'M HOLDING ALL OF YOU VERY TIGHT AND CLOSE TO MY HEART, WITH LOVE.
