Frank Hightower

Frank Hightower, 76, of Pittsburg, CA, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2013. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Phillip AME Church, Monticello, with burial in the Church Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 3-7 p.m. Saturday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO 850-997-5553. A Jefferson County native, Mr. Hightower had lived in Pittsburg since 1959. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elnora Hightower; daughter, Jeanette (Richard) Bronaugh; several grandchildren and children raised as his own; his siblings, Leon Hightower, John (Ada) Hightower, Jr., Dorothy Plummer, Ethel Mae Graham, Mary (Arthur) Ingram, Lenora (Henry) Wiggins, Bernice Hightower and Betty Gilley; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Blake Hightower and sisters, Margie Plummer and Ollie Mae Mathis.
