Hugh, like Billy, was a gentle, kind-hearted gentleman. Hugh was one of my favorite cousins since we were children in St. George, SC.; then known as "Mr. McGregor", so names by his grandfather Camp. I love my warm memories of Hugh.

I will always fondly remember "Cousin" Hugh. What a true Southern gentleman - just like his Dad!

Hugh always had a very gentle, kind heart, even as a little boy. How blessed and honored all of us were to have known him, shared time & smiles with him and to have had the added benefit of being a part of his family. We are all much better people for having known him. Hugh will forever have a significant impact on each of us.

Hugh was a wonderfully kind man and always made a smile come to my heart whenever he was around. He was a great friend to turn to, obtain advice from or just talk to. I as well as many, many others will feel this tremendous loss but in all the sadness we should always try to remember that at last he's home and at peace in God's loving embrace. I thank God for allowing me to have worked with him and laughed with him. I would like to express my deepest sympathies for his family and friends.

Though we haven't stayed in touch over the years, Hugh was a good fishing friend at Mexico Beach to my husband, Olin, and I during the late 1970's. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
