My sympathy to you fellows, Scott, Stan and Steve and your families. I never knew until now, and I'm proud to say, that I share middle names with your dad.

So sorry. My grandmother was Annie Brock Whitaker from Vernon; my grandfather was Hurdis Whitaker from Bonifay, later sheriff in Pensacola, then killed in Bonifay. I believe Hurdis Brock must have been named after my grandfather, who died at about the time of Hurdis's birth.

Along with my brothers Hugh and Dan, we express our deepest sympathies.
