Mr. Culligan was one of the "GOOD" teachers who cared about his students and taught them a lot of "life information".... He will be remembered for his kindness and understanding of the students entrusted into his care. I called to speak with him a couple of months ago, but he was not having a good day, so I never got to speak with him... But somehow I think he knows that I did care about him, just as he cared about us students.
My sincere condolences to the family.
A former student,

Francis Howard

Jim was both friend and mentor to his many students here in LaBelle as well as a longstanding personal family friend. He will long be fondly remembered by all here in LaBelle whose lives he touched in years gone by as both friend and mentor. My condolences to Terry and the rest of the Culligan family.
