Dear Hipps Family,

I am very sorry to learn of the death of your father. I was a student who applied to the PIMS program in 1984 and knew your mother and her friend Cecilia Farmer very well. After I married, I met your family on several occasions when I attended East Hill Baptist Church. Your mom and dad were very fond of ALL your accomplishments. I remember very well when Jay was recognized as a senior on the floor of the Civic Center and the pride in your parents. Thanks for sharing your folks with me, and may your losses soon lose their intensity, tb
