James Morgan Obituary
James Edward Morgan departed this life on June 26, 2012 at home with his family at his bedside. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Sat., June 30, 2012 at Strong & Jones Chapel with burial at Southside Cemetery. The funeral cortege will assemble at 2917 Rackley Drive, Tallahassee. Born in Jasper, FL, he was a longtime resident of Tallahassee. He was employed at Mitchell Brothers Construction Co. for over 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Allene C. Morgan of Tallahassee; one daughter, Renelda A. McMillan of Lake Park, GA; one son, Edward D Morgan of Bethedsa, MD; four stepdaughters, Karen A. Cobb Thurman, Kimberly Y. Cobb Thomas (James); Ivy E. Cobb, Katrina R. Cobb all of Tallahassee; one stepson, John "Hank" Cobb (Vanessa) of Tallahassee; twelve step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sam Morgan (Vernell) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and John Morgan of Boise, ID; four sisters, Mary E. Graham of St. Petersburg, FL, viola Rayam of Ocala, FL, Margaret Merchant (Jessie) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Annie Perry (Freddie) of Jasper, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins throughout Broward, Hamilton, Leon and Pinellas counties. A special thank you to Dr. Dale Wickstrom and the TMH Cancer Center and Dr. Bhanderi and the Florida Cancer Center.

My dearest "Pops". Oh how I can't believe you left us, but I know I will see you again some day. We can finally say " he's resting in White Springs now" for sure. Family we must keep our heads up and continue to lean on the Lord. He will see us through this time. Mommy Lean I love you and just know you did a wonderful job taking care of Pops.
