Kathy and Family, I want you to know how much I love you. You are the best friend anyone could have and I miss you dearly. Kathy, I want you to remember your daddy was one of a kind. He will never be forgotten. He raised 5 wonderful kids and had a loving and caring wife. He had so much to be proud of. Just keep that in your hearts and keep all your memories close to you. Remember you will see him again some day and he will have the same sweet smile on his face and the same love in his heart. We both have such wonderful parents. Thank God, I have not had to experience the feeling of loss that you have just felt. But, I know my day is coming. Kathy, I love you all and if there is anything you, your mama or any of your family ever need, I am just a phone call away. We have such wonderful memories and that is something noone can ever take away. Be with your mama and tell her I love her. Your mama and daddy were always so nice to me. I will never forget it. Take care and remember how much I love you. I will pray for you all. Ya'll have lost a good and kind man but we will all be better for having known him. I love you all very much.

Debrah,
Reading these condolences makes me think so much of my own family and especially my grandaddy. I didn't know your father but he must of been a fine man to raise someone as special as you are. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Laurie Lilliott(Perry, Fl)

Dear Frances & Family,
I worked for John several years at Centel and I have yet to meet a finer person. One thing I enjoyed was hearing him talk about all of his family and his cows! He always had time for anyone and will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Frances and Family,
John was a wonderful man and a great boss. We will really miss him. He always had a smile on his face and after he retired, a hug for us when he saw us. We were all his (other kids) he looked after at work and we always enjoyed hearing about his cows. He will be missed.

To the Roberts Family,
John was my supervisor at Centel (drafting) and he was a pleasure to work with. I thought about him on Monday when I heard about the Sun-Belt in Moultrie Ga. and how he loved to go every year. He will be missed. I pray God's comfort for you and your family.

Dear Aunt Frances and family,
I will miss Uncle Johnny-- seeing him ride by to feed the cows, jitterbugging with his dance partner, his encouragement on our music and "picking" and his super-friendly way.
We are praying for you all. May everyone know that God is always with us and may His name be glorified, even in this time of grief and sadness.
With much love
