As Kyles father-in law I was saddened in three ways by his death. First, because he was a great father to Tanner. Second because he was a great husband to my daughter Ali. But most of all, it broke my heart to see Ali have to go through this. He will be missed more than I can say.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Kyle’s wife and son. Both of us were stationed in the Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana in 2004-2005 and were avid Admirals fans. We listened to the games via the internet and always emailed Kyle and he would always say hi to both of us on the air. In this small way, we felt connected to Milwaukee and to the Admirals. Once home on leave, we had the opportunity to go to an Admirals game and meet Kyle.
May God bless Mrs. Schultz and her son with the comfort and joy of Life Everlasting in Him, Jesus Christ.
Sincerely,
Josh (Milwaukee) and Luke (Kenosha)

We were saddened to hear the loss of Kyle, we considered him a good friend in the short time we knew him. We were happy to hear that he was able to be a father to Tanner and a wonderful husband to Allison.
He will always have a special place in our hearts here in Utah.
Sounded like he was able to enjoy the things he loved in life before it was taken from him. The fans and friends he made here in Salt Lake will really miss him. Our prayers and thoughts at this time go out to Allison, Tanner and Kyle's family.
God Bless.

Kyle always had a smile on his face, especially when he spoke of Ali and Tanner.

To Ali, Tanner, and the entire Schultz family...I was deeply saddened to learn that Kyle had passed away. Back when we both worked for the Lynx, he kept a smile on everyones face and kept us all in stitches with his wonderful humor. I am sorry to say that I never knew Kyle as an adult. My memories are of my friend’s little brother, swimming with us in the lake and playing out on the ice, always happy.
Every time I heard his voice at an Admiral’s game it brought back a flood of childhood memories, always good.
Thanks Kyle. My prayers are with you and your family.

I lived in Tallahassee when the Tiger Sharks got their start. I moved back down to Tampa in '97 but I still listened to Kyle and his broadcasts of Sharks games over the 'net. Those were fun games to listen to. I got to meet Kyle on a few occasions when I lived up there. Great guy. We talked about "old-time hockey." He'll be missed. My condolences to his family.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Schultz family at their loss of a caring and energetic man.
