Logan Alexander Kendrick Logan Alexander Kendrick, 3, became one of God's little angels Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, in Houston, Texas. He was born March 16, 2004, in Tallahassee, Fla. For almost four years, Logan shared his joy of discovering life's mysteries and pleasures with his family and friends. The word "walk" was not in Logan's vocabulary. He rushed headlong through his short life full speed ahead. He loved assuming the roles of his favorite characters – Batman, Spiderman, Elmo- helping his Dad and Papa Ray with their chores, but most of all playing with his sister, Jade. A celebration of Logan's life will be at noon today, Feb. 9, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Children's Hospital, PDICU Patient/Parent Parking Fund, P.O. Box 300630, Mail Code 4-4483, Houston, TX 77230-0630. He is survived by his loving parents, Odis and Tricia Kendrick, and sister, Jade Gateley. Other survivors include grandparents, Odis G. Kendrick III of Washington, D.C., Mary C. Whitmire of Tallahassee, Fla., and Ray and Judy Torres of Fulshear, Texas; great-grandparents, Don and Elsie Schafer of Chebanse, Ill., Theron and Sharon Flota of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; aunt, Catherine K. Castaldo (husband Scott) and cousins Noah and Caitlyn of Atlanta, Ga.; and uncle, John Gateley (wife Gennifer) and cousins Blane and Jalynn of Rosenberg, Texas.
