Na'im & Family,
It was with both sadness and joy I learned of your father's transition. I remind you of the timely words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: "Death is not a period that ends this great sentence of life, but rather an exclamation mark that punctuates it to a more loftier height." The Creator of this universe said to your father a few days ago: "Thy good and faithful servant, well done!" Though Daddy Weems Sr is no loner with us in person, his presence via his life and legacy will forever be with us in the spirit. I entrust to you the comforting words of Christ Jesus: "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal." Geraldine, Jaime, and I will continually lift you and your family up in our prayers.
Na'im, your father now resides among the great sages of time in that land where traveleres are never known to return, whose wisdom we stand upon and from it we gain our strength.
Shalom,
James C. Vaughn, Jr.

Naim, you were just rendering condolences to our family in the passing of our brother, Clifford, just a short while ago. We never know just what the future holds. Be assured of our sincere prayers for you and your wonderful family at this difficult time. Take comfort in the fact that you and your dad had such a long time to share in each other's lives.
