Mickey Bridges Obituary
Mickey William Bridges, 72 of Quincy, FL. passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his residence.
The visitation service will be held from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana. (850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com) Interment will be private in Dothan, AL, at a later date. Memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
Mr. Bridges was born May 22, 1942 in Dothan, AL. The son of the late Willie W. Bridges and the late Mary Deese Bridges. Mr. Bridges moved to the Tallahassee area 35 years ago. He was the co-owner of A-9 Furniture in Tallahassee. He was a workaholic. He was a family man, He loved them all dearly.
He is survived by his wife Joan Bridges of Quincy, FL; His sister Debbie Kirkland of Cottonwood, AL; Two daughters Kim Brandhuber (Scott) of Montgomery, AL and Teressa Bridges of Montgomery, AL; five step children Dorothy A. McKenzie, Aubrey B. Barnes, Frank Barnes, Joni Barnes, and James B. Barnes; one niece Kristy Kirkland; and one nephew David Ashley Kirkland. Four grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, Five step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren.

I would like to send my condolences especially to Joan, Teressa and Kim and family. I knew Mickey through Teressa in the early ninety's and I was always welcomed and treated well. This lost is big for his family, and the community.

Granddaddy Mickey was a great man and I will always miss him. I will always hold my memories of him close to heart! Rest In Peace granddaddy, I miss you already.
