Robert Alessi Obituary
Robert 'Duk' Alessi, 63 of Crawfordville, Florida passed away peacefully Sunday April 9, 2017. Robert was born in Neptune, New Jersey, October 25, 1953 to Nick and Gisela Alessi (pre-deceased)
He was an extremely talented Human, a loyal friend, a great enthusiast and advocate of nature and community. His unique personality and spirit touched all who met him. He will be profoundly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Audrey Alessi, brothers; Steven Alessi, Gary Alessi(Kathy), sister in-law; Ursula Pougnet(Tom), brother in-law; Alex Crawford(Jan) and 5 nephews and 1 niece.
A celebration of Duk's life will be held the week of summer Solstice, Saturday June 24, 2017, at 2 pm at "From the Heart Studios", Sopchoppy, Florida.

I loved Robert like a brother. Yeah,yeah,yeah he would say. We could not see each other for years and still could pick up each other's vibe like we'd been around each other every day. My son Tristan and I were lucky enough to go visit my old neighbor/buddy/lawsuit partner this last winter. We sat in his boat/camper and talked economics. Imagine that. He visited to Nova Scotia a long time before Wendy and I moved here and I hoped he could have come to see my home on an island in the Roseway river. Duk was a deep, deep thinker and one hell of a human being. I was lucky to get to know him and will miss him.
