Robert David Fewox

Tallahassee - Robert David Fewox was born in Gainesville, Fla. On May 3rd 1965. He departed this life on July 1st, 2018. David grew up in Tallahassee and at Alligator Point. He was graduated from Maclay School and Eckerd College. David was later graduated from the F.S.U. College of Law. But, his real love was the sea, so he also earned his Coast Guard Thousand Ton Captain's license and became a rescue captain for boating insurance firms.

David is survived by his mother, Ann Cowles, his father, Bob Fewox, two brothers: Mark Fewox (Jess) and Brandon Fewox; two nephews: Bryce Fewox and Tenton Fewox; three nieces; Jade Fewox Rodrigues (Chase), Delaney Fewox; and Alexis Fewox. A grand niece, Karlie Fewox and a grand nephew, Marek Aiken. He also has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins around the South, and many loving friends from Tallahassee, Franklin County, and the U. K. who are touched by his loss. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by us who are left behind.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4th, at 5:00 p.m. on the beach at his mother's home at 2400 Driftwood Point Lane, Carrabelle, Fla. Pastor Beth White officiating and Rev. Brian Brightlty and his wife Irina also participating in the service. All who care for David and his family are welcome. Driftwood Point Lane is off of Highway 98 in Franklin County, about 5 miles West of Carrabelle and 10 miles East of Eastpoint. To find the road, look for the "Tate's Hell Hiking Trail" large sign on the north side of Highway 98, about 4 miles west of the Carrabelle Bridge. Look for a small Driftwood Point street sign on the water side of 98, and an aluminum mailbox with "2400" and a small bouquet on it. The home is 1/8 mile down Driftwood Point Lane.
