Judson S. Freeman

A Celebration of the life of Judson S. Freeman, age 43, will be held on Feb. 10, 2024, at 1 p.m, at Bevis Funeral Home, located at 200 John Knox Rd., Tallahassee, Fla.
Judson transcended his earthly life in Monticello, Fla., on January 14, 2024.
He attended Maclay School, Class of '98, and graduated Florida State University, Class of 2002, with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communications.
Judson is survived by his wife, Lori LeAnne Freeman, and his fur babies, Ava Sadie and Mr. Jones, aka Kitty. He was Lori's North Star, always guiding, affirming and encouraging her full potential with love and support. He is also survived by his parents, Larry and Diane Freeman, of Monticello. As an only son, he brought joy and completeness to their lives. Also surviving are Lori's parents, Manny and Pat Gonzales, of Tallahassee, and much beloved family and friends.
He is predeceased by Misha, aka Big Kitty and Tessie.
Judson was employed at ISF, Inc. and recently promoted to Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to ISF, he worked for the State of Florida for ten years at the Department of Revenue, Department of Management Services, and Department of Children and Families. Also, he was Vice President with the former family-owned business, Jefferson Builders Mart and Hardware, in Monticello.
He was Past-President of the Monticello Rotary Club and former member of the Tallahassee Sunrise Rotary Club whereby he became a Paul Harris Fellow. He served many years as President of Monticello Eagles Nest, a home for scouting in Monticello. Judson was an Eagle Scout of Boy Scouts of America Troop 803, Monticello.
As an organ donor, even in death, Judson will continue to live through others. His aspiration in life was to uplift, inspire and guide others in finding purpose to succeed.
To continue his legacy, the family will gratefully appreciate consideration of any donations to the Judson Freeman Fund to benefit underserved young people.
