Many friends of William “Bill” Proctor, Sr. will miss his leadership, and strong easygoing disposition. My contact with him, pre-pandemic, occurred every second Thursday when about a dozen or more politically-minded citizens (including his son Commissioner Bill Proctor, Jr. met for breakfast at a chosen restaurant. Frequent guests include a number of political leaders and candidates for office seeking the group's support. The group was created decades ago by Proctor Sr and the late Ed Duffey.
One's legacy can often be marked by what one creates that continues... Bill Proctor's group will continue, post pandemic.
