Albert Goodrich Obituary

GOODRICH, Albert E. "Al" 62, of St. Petersburg, passed away on May 30, 2008 at St. Anthony's Hospital. Al was a proud member of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office for 32 years and the St. Petersburg ELKS Lodge 1224 for 6 years. He was an avid golfer and a hole-in-one recipient at Mangrove Bay. Al is survived by his wife, Toni; his sons, Victor, Steven, and Charles Goodrich; his daughter, Judith Light; his brother, Larry Goodrich; 7 grandchildren and 2 aunts. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4 from 5 pm until service time at 7 pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Ave N. For those who wish, donations may be made to the ELKS Harry Anna Trust Fund: Children's Physical Therapy Services, P.O. Box 49, Umatilla, FL 32784. He was a great man & sheriff's deputy.He was like a second father for me.And all the neighbor kids in our Seminole area neighborhood.We were always happy to see him.And knew we could talk to him about anything.We all had respect for him.Because he showed us respect, patience & understanding. And knew we were safe with him in our area.
He is greatly missed by me & will be until we meet again.
