Albert ROGERO Obituary

ROGERO, Albert L. III "Bo" 63, passed away on September 10, 2024, in Denver, Colorado. Bo was born in Clearwater, Florida, on September 6, 1961. He grew up in Clearwater and graduated from Clearwater High School in 1979. Bo attended Florida State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management from the College of Business, then attended the American College of Risk Management, where he did postgraduate work earning his CLU/RHU in finance and risk management. Bo was the father of three, Dylan, Rachel, and Matthew. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children. He was also a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and grandson. Our family will remember him for his loving nature, unwavering compassion, intelligence, strength, and laughter. As a family, we hope that he will be remembered by his friends as the amazing man he was before he was lost to us; we want to express our gratitude and love to everyone that helped Bo during his most difficult times. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Bo will be forever in our hearts. With love, Bo's family.

I too was a fraternity brother. He was a very fun guy to be around. Along with Mike Kulikowski, we road tripped to the FSU/Auburn game back in the day. What a time we had! Lots and lots of laughs! He was one of those guys that many of us picture in our mind when recollect those great times in college. Although it has been years since I've seen him, it truly saddens me to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family and all of those that love him.

Bo was a living legend at our fraternity LXA and looked up to by all of younger brothers, certainly one of the reasons I and many of the AM class of spring 1983 joined. He was not only a Great role model but also one of the best athletes in the fraternity. I can't imagine how much he will be missed.

Bo and I became friends when he and my sister Leslie dated in high school. I joined him at FSU as a fellow Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity brother. We were close friends and I always admired his wonderful nature and spirit. He laughed easily and was a sincere pleasure to be around. I always felt there was something special about our friendship that I couldn´t explain until I discovered our ancestors came to Florida at the same time aboard ships from Menorca, Spain in 1768. Over many years I´ve studied the genealogical records and have learned much about our shared heritage from Menorca, to New Smyrna Turnbull Colony, St Augustine, Clearwater and FSU. I´m so glad to have known Bo and I´m deeply saddened that his family suffers in his passing, especially his children. He was a wonderful man and great friend. We´ll miss him dearly. Condolences to the family and all who knew and loved him.

Bo and I were fraternity brothers and basically college roommates as we would be out or up laughing until he fell asleep on the couch most nights. Its probably why we ended up having to stay an extra year!!
His athletic abilities and consideration of others was what I remember most. He and I loved teaming up in Intramural Superstars and other fraternity sports to take the title and Tshirt every year!! Not enough space here to express my gratutude for knowing Bo through college! Hard to believe you are gone brother!
RIP my friend.

So many great childhood memories with Bo. We had the best street for kids to grow up on! My hope is you are at peace now.

I grew up living next door to Bo, Gina, and their nearly human dog Bogi. I will always remember Bo as the smart, kind, easy going, fun loving person I knew then. Incredibly sad to hear that he has passed. May he now rest in peace.
