Andrew W. DUTTON, Jr.

age 76, passed away on June 29, 2016 at his home in Sebring surrounded by his loving family. A native of Sebring, he was born July 10, 1939 at Weems Clinic and lived in Sebring all his life except for time serving his country. He was an artillery surveyor in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964, spending time in Germany and Ft. Sill, OK. Andy was a founding/charter member of West Sebring Volunteer Fire Department, serving for a number of years as Assistant Chief. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Allen Dutton. Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Anne (Petro) Dutton; his sons, Andrew W. Dutton, III (Samantha) of S. Pittsburg, TN & Gregg Stephen Dutton (Heather) of Sebring; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Carol Jean Brown of Warner Robbins, GA. A memorial service will be at held at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 2, 2016, 1:00 PM with Pastor Frank Derrick officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to charity of choice.
