James,
This morning I thought of your dad and decided to look for any info on him. I was greatly shocked and deeply saddened to learn not only of his passing this year, but also that of your mom last year and the tragic loss of Danae in 2009. It's all so upsetting; I can only imagine how sorrowful and difficult it was for you and them. My sincerest sympathy.
Your dad and I were both dept. managers for Group W Cable in the 1980s and shared a fondness for all things computer-related. We spent many fun times trying out and swapping one new program or another. Sadly, I lost touch with him after 1987, but would think of him from time to time and always hoped to see him again one day. Ironically, I never knew he was in Hudson FL, but my son Dan also lived there for some years, possibly at the same time.
Anyway, I was so troubled by this discovery I wanted to reach out. I don't know if you'll get this, but I hope so.
