Betty Jo was a good friend of my mother; Peggy Shaw when they worked together in the early 60's. I think it was Honeywell. She was a great beauty and a real lady. Not a dowdy subservient type of 'lady'; very gracious and kind, she was also super sharp and funny too. And still managed to have a well behaved and obedient 'gentlemanly' dog. I just remember that she and mom would sometimes get together for lunch and a cocktail and they always looked elegant and beautiful and wore beautiful shoes and clothes and jewelry. Betty Jo had gooooorgeous blue eyes and blonde hair always beautifully done - not those stiff looking styles you may have seen in the 60's but soft feminine looking. Really- she could have been a fashion model. Any kind of model I'm sure. My mom too- they looked lovely together and I remember Betty always making my mom laugh. She was beautiful inside too you see.
When my mom was dying I tried to encourage her to reach out to her friends but she didn't want them to see her sick. Now I am shocked to find out that Betty Jo died a month before my mother did. But I like to see Betty there to meet my mom when she passed. I know she missed her a lot over the years and must have been delighted to find her again in a time when all illness and decay are absent at last. God Bless you Sweet Lady. You are a beautiful part of the fabric of my life and the mother so dear to me and so missed.

Robert,
We are very sorry for your loss. We have got to know BJ very well over the last few years we spent at Imperial Cove.
She was a great lady who always had a smile on her face.
