Brandon,
A few years have gone by. We were never that close, but as I near college graduation as class of 2022, I often think about how I wish you were too.
So many people miss you, Brandon.
Here's part of a poem I wrote in 2017 for you.
--

The sun died that day
In a rather abrupt and solemn way
No warning, no sign of decay

Did your soul continue on its way?
If I call out your name, will you hear what I have to say?
Did you hear the prayers I sent that day?

The day the sun fell from the sky
The only thought that formed was
Why?

Why steal someone so kind and glowing?
Why pluck a seed that's not done growing?

The watch you wore has not stopped ticking
The people you touched continue to cry
But for an instant, the world stood still
The day the sun fell from the sky

--
You will always be in my thoughts. I hope you're resting peacefully.

Brandon was an amazing person when we were having a bad day we would always talk about it and he would always change the subject and make the day better. We always asked each other how we were doing he was an amazing person and it's sad to see him go too young. Although I had only known him for a year I feel like we were closer. Brandon was the type of person to make every laugh and to have a fun time. I will forever miss him and remember him he's not a person to forget.

I am deeply sorry and so sad to hear about what happened. Brandon was a very special young man...caring, respectful, funny and with a big smile for everyone. I had the blessing of teaching him for the past year and I will never forget him, specially when he asked me, almost every morning, if he could eat his breakfast in my classroom. I will miss him a lot and my heart is broken. It was terrible to hear about this loss and I express my sincere sympathy to his family. I hope that our Lord brings to his family the much needed comfort and peace during this very sad time.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bermudez Luna

Laura and Austin,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry for the people who will never know the wonderful person that Brandon was. As a gifted teacher, it is a blessing to work with amazing children everyday. Sometimes we are blessed even more when a special child graces the door to our classroom. Brandon was one of those blessed children. His love of learning inspired not only his classmates, but his teachers as well. His quiet, gentle spirit was noticed and appreciated by all. His ability to "think outside the box" never ceased to amaze us. Our AGP class was a family. I had Brandon for 3 wonderful years. I watched as his confidence in himself grew, and was shown to others as he was always there to lend a hand to a classmate in need of help with math or science. His love of technology was a gift to me, as by the 3rd grade he would basically run all technology in the classroom-thank goodness! In 8th grade he came back to Clark to visit and offered to create my website for that school year. It was the best website I had ever had! Brandon was a one of a kind, special child, whose light was extinguished way to soon. He is now an angel, at peace. He will be missed every single day. My thoughts, love and prayers to you Laura and Austin, always,
Gerry Sciacca

I wish I could let him know how much I actually cared about him he had such a wonderful personality and his smile could make anyone happy. When I was going through a very hard and emotional time I actually had the privilege of being able to get advice from him and when I was low he was there to help build me up to tell me the things I needed to hear.I'm greatful for the time and memories I had with Brandon.I'm sorry for your lost but he will always live on in the memories we have and in our hearts. -My deepest condolences.

Laura and Austin,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know there are no words that can alleviate the pain you are experiencing as a mother and a brother. Brandon was such a wonderful gift to all of us. His mere presence put a smile on your face. His quiet, tender nature with a hint of mischievousness was sunshine on a gloomy day. Although my time with Brandon was short, it was remarkable as he shared one of his greatest talents with our classhis ability to masterfully compose essays and stories. His words brought life to a blank page of paper, entertained a class of peers by painting a picture so vivid that it inspired others to write. Over and over again, we listened to his masterpieces, mesmerized by his work and impressed by his humble nature as he shared. I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to work with Brandon. He was an inspiration to me as well as his peers, a bright star shining in the evening sky, lent to us for a small moment in time. May you hold onto your memories for healing and remember all the ways he made you and so many others smile. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless all of you. Like Cheryl, I am a mother of sons, 4 boys, and I can't fathom how it must feel to lose someone you love so much. These past few days have been hard for Jason and I and all I can do is offer my love and support. Brandon is flying high with the angels and if it is any comfort, he will always be watching over his family and friends. Bless his little soul and we will always keep him in our hearts and thoughts.
