Hi Aunt Ronnie,
I was so saddened to see your post this morning, wanted to share my deepest condolences for you and Caitlin and Terry. I've spent much of today thinking about how kind and generous you and Brian had been to me and the family over the years. I have many fond memories of Uncle Brian, lots of sunny days on the boat at Caladesi Island or just listening to him needle Aunt Rainy about the black spots in the mashed potatoes. He was a good man. And it you two raised some amazing kids, a testament to you both. I am so sorry for your loss. You and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers.

If there is anything that I can do, please don't hesitate to let me know. I will keep Brian, you & your family in my prayers. God bless you all & bring you peace. Love, Fred

Brian is among the few people in my life who I would ask for advice. His wisdom, balanced with a mad passion for research, along with his Costco sensibilities made him the perfect go-to guy when needing a big brother to give a valued opinion. OK, so I didn't always heed his advice, but I knew he had my back. Ronnie and Brian have *always* had my back... and many other people's. The Farleys are an extension of my own family. "Friends are the family we choose for ourselves." I'll miss our dry, wry, sarcastic, sardonic, Zinfandel'ing, meat-and-potatoes, one-of-a-kind Brian.

Wonderful, selfless, generous, kind hearted, successful, meticulous, efficient. These are just a very few of the adjectives that describe Brian David Farley.
Always thinking of others. Not ever wanting to upset anyone. Such as the time when Ronnie was at work at Eastern Airlines and Brian was watching Caitlin. She was maybe 2 or 3 at the time. Caitlin was upset and crying at bedtime when Brian tried to take off her outfit over her head. So he got a pair of scissors and CUT HER DRESS OFF.
Problem solved. SMART. That was Brian.
Brian always gave Ronnie the space to be her own person, as did she with him. They were the most loving married couple I know. A unity cut way too short.
Brian -- Devoted Husband, Father, and Friend to All. We will miss you. The World will miss you. Rest in Peace.
