Carole Bardes Obituary

BARDES, Carole Diane Yeamans 80, of St. Petersburg, passed away on July 31, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Plainville, CT on June 17, 1941 to Wilfred and Mary Yeamans. Carole moved to the St. Petersburg area in 1976 with her husband, Paul Bardes, where they both were very involved with the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Carole was a Salty Sister from 1980 to 2021, holding multiple leadership positions and receiving a 40 year charm in 2020. She and her husband enjoyed their time together sailing, traveling, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. They travelled the world together, going anywhere from the North Pole to the South Pole and anywhere in between. One of Carole's passions in life was her paintings and colored pencil art. She and Paul travelled the United States attending shows and displaying her work. Carole was preceded in passing by her parents, Wilfred and Mary Yeamans; and her husband of 56 years, Paul Bardes. She is survived by her children, Eric Bardes and Christian (Gloria) Bardes; grandchildren, Chase, Isabel, Haley and Noah; sisters, Phyllis Bailey and Sharon (Eli) Rodriquez; as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home on August 21, 2021 at 11 am at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK St N., followed by a small reception.
